Zubaria Asma is an Early-Stage Researcher (ESR) at the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH, and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Crete, Heraklion. She holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan, obtained in 2018.
From 2018 to 2021, Zubaria served as a lecturer at Pakistan University, where she nurtured her passion for teaching and mentoring students. Her current Ph.D. research focuses on the application of Knowledge Graphs, particularly in the areas of provenance and querying.
Her research interests span data science, semantic web technologies, and query processing. During her master's studies, she made significant contributions to enhancing the security and reliability of cloud-based access control systems by developing a formal approach for the verification of AWS IAM access control policies.
